Breathe new life into your tired V-Twin. Team Cycle USA, through Team Cycle Ultima® Motor works now offering their motor rebuilding service to our customers. By offering this service, you get a quality rebuild complete with a 6 month, 6000 (six thousand) mile warranty.
But Wait!!! This rebuild service also includes S&S® & Harley-Davidson® Evo and any American V-Twin as well! Now you have another option to get that motor rebuilt correctly & at an un-beatable price. ($ 2,150,00 + freight to factory) return to you freight paid by us.
Arranging the rebuild is a simple process of removing your motor & pack it in a manner so that it will not be damaged in transit whereupon we (Team Cycle USA) will contact Ultima, our factory to arrange an agreed upon pick-up date. Once received by the trained staff at Ultima your engine will be inspected for any obvious cosmetic flaws or damage. Once the engine has been checked in, Team Cycle will then be contacted before dis-assembly of the motor begins. Your motor will then be completely disassembled, cleaned & thoroughly inspected. This service is offered to all Ultima motors 80” thru 140 ci” & select Big Twin Evolution style engines.
Packing to ship, here is the way we do it, put engine in shipping box we send you, put plastic garbage bag each side open end up and loose parts around each side, squirt expandable foam into bags ( use only enough to expand to engine and sides if over top of box trim off, it will expand around engine in box and hold in place, the bags keeps the foam out and off engine.

All motors will be upgraded to the latest production specifications including but not limited to:
BeeHive valve springs.
Ultima High Output oil pump.
Heavy duty Hylift Johnson lifters.
Tapered Chromoly pushrods when applicable.
Mahle forged pistons when applicable.
Standard services performed :
All bearings, bushings & hardware will be replaced as necessary.
New pistons, gaskets & seals.
5 piece crankshaft assemblies will be rebuilt & trued as necessary.
3 Piece crankshaft assemblies will be rebuilt as needed or replaced at additional cost.
Cylinders will be Diamond honed to the appropriate size for your new pistons & rings.
Oil pumps will be rebuilt or replaced as necessary.
All rebuilt motors carry a 6 month 6,000 mile guarantee on parts & labor.
Things you should know & do before sending your motor:
1. Contact Team Cycle at (706) 554-5917) or click HERE to schedule an agreed upon work order & pick up date.
2. You must drain all of the oil from the crankcase.
3. You must remove your oil filter & filter mount.
4. You must remove the charging system & any related spacers.
5. You must remove your carburetor & leave the manifold installed.
6. Your ignition module must be installed.
7. Most importantly you must pack your motor for shipping in a manner so that it will not be damaged in transit. If you do not have a box or crate one can be purchased from us..
8. Once the engine has been checked in & the we has been notified by Ultima the typical rebuild time is 2 to 3 weeks.
9. Your motor will be pre-run with oil pressure logged & verified before returning .
10. Shipping to Ultima will be paid by the customer. We pay return freight.

To start with I am a builder of American V-Twin Customs a Harley rider since 1953, been around know the biker code. I was a motorcycle dealer until I started building my own motorcycles better than what I was selling, so I retired from dealership business in 1992. I custom build only 10 / 12 motorcycles a year now to keep me occupied. I also sell custom un-assembled kits to customer specs if they want to assemble themselves.
I would never recommend any cycle to a buyer, it would depend on the type riding they intend to do. Buyers come in many forms, cross country, bar hoppers, speed freaks, cruisers, they should know what they want and don’t need any advice. On the other hand a new buyer should research models suited to their riding style and pay attention to the old school-ers.
The biggest mistake made today when a rider wants a bike like he wants it he goes custom and pays way to much. Take a look at the new Harley Customs on the dealers floor going for $40,000 to $45,000 the other custom builders prices from $40,000 to $60,000 +.
