(not just an extension welded on). Fits Sportster® 1982 & later.
NOTE: 1995 & later models require relocation of the switch and coil.
Smooth top tank holds approximately 4 gallons (15 liter), almost twice as much as the original tank. Tank comes complete with mounting hardware.

2" Stretch Gas Tanks for Sportster®
This 2” stretched tank with dash gives the Sportster® a long slippery stretched look and holds approximately 4 gallons (15.2 liter), almost twice as much as the original tank. Tank has an improved rubber mount system which isolates the tank from the engine vibrations. Designed to bolt to the original mounts on Sportster® 1982 & later . Tank comes complete as described below, ‘95 & later has dash that accepts the OEM electronic speedometer (not included), ‘82 -’94 comes with FL Dash & Speedo. All mounting hardware included.
